Apart from the leg armor it is my intention to redo the left shoulder. Up to now those three armor parts consisted of fibreglas and are to a certain degree hollow. That gives them a light weight, but it is also quite a challenge to keep them where they are - even with a screw going through all three of them.
As they are currently also quite small - I had a hard time figuring out how big they are, and it didn't work that well in the first run - I decided to make the bigger and closer to the originals.
Also I don't go for fibreglass this time, but for PVC. I ordered three hard foam boards, with a thickness of 6mm and approximately the size of a sheet of paper.
The first one is almost done - and it was quite difficult to get it formed this way as you need to heat it for nearly ten minutes with 600°C to make it hot enough to form it.
