Snowtrooper - Part 10

Okay, I have to apologize. It has been a while since a last posted on here. The problem was that Overblog wouldn't just let me log into my account.

Problem solved. Now there should be plenty of updates in the next few days as I worked a lot on the costumes lately.

Let's start with the snowtrooper...

The codpiece. Remember? That aweful thing that I had to cut the boxes off, had to fibreglass intensively and then put aweful lots of putty on it? Yes, exactly that thing...

Before I put the "new" boxes on it looked like this...

Then I used epoxy glue (the picture is not intended to be product placement - it is just there for letting you know what the stuff looks like - in Germany you get it also from Uhu, don't know what you must look for outside Germany though...) to define the new boxes... and put them on the cod piece.

After lots of sanding, putting putty on, sanding again, I am quite content with the result...
