Snowtrooper - Part 6

Making huge progress with my Snowie! Working on the parts whenever I can, but mix it all up. So I can work on one while the other has to dry or harden.

To keep it all a bit more clear on here I will post the progress on the parts over a few posts, each one only sticking to one topic.

Therefore we go with the codpiece today, as I've already posted photos of it without the boxes and while hardening.

The fibreglass layer has been covered with gelcoat, plus the holes in the front have seen some filler and sanding.

The next step is to put the rim on the top of the cod piece, as that one had been missing from the beginning.

I cut two stripes of PVC (it could have been one, but my PVC wasn't long enough) and heat formed them to fit to the cod piece. Then I used super glue to put the strips to the armor. Now waiting for it to harden. Next step: filling and sanding!
